George Rodosthenous

Dr George Rodosthenous is Lecturer in Music Theatre at the School of Performance and Cultural Industries of the University of Leeds. He is the Artistic Director of the theatre company 'Altitude North' and also works as a freelance composer for the theatre. His research interests are 'the body in performance', 'refining improvisational techniques and compositional practices for performance', 'devising pieces with live musical soundscapes as interdisciplinary process', 'updating Greek Tragedy' and 'The British Musical'. He is currently working on the book Theatre as Voyeurism: the Pleasure(s) of Watching.


Riccardo Meneghini was born in Italy and now is living in Leeds. Riccardo studied at the Laban Centre in London and with Carolyn Calson at the Accedemia Isola Danza as part of the Venice Binennale. He is currently a freelance dancer/choreographer and has been member of the Scottish Dance Theatre where he performed works by Rui Horta and many others. He choreographs his own work and founded the Oblik Dance company. Riccardo also worked with DV8, Transitions Dance Company, Russell Maliphant, Zanussi Dance company, Opera North and the School of Performance and Cultural Industries (University of Leeds). He has taught extensively: contact improvisation, release technique, composition and technique classes.


Demetris Zavros is currently finishing a music-theatre Ph.D. student at the School of Performance and Cultural Industries of the University of Leeds. He is Associate Director of the theatre company 'Altitude North' and also works as a freelance composer for the theatre. His music-theatre works include: AiAs Mana, Icarus, Clastoclysm and Metaxi Alogon. His theatre music includes: Tender Dearly, The Little Prince and other stories, Ajax, On/Off, Frozen, Mela, H Defteri Efkairia, Ftoxoi kai Agioi (as composer) and A Stranger in the House (as orchestrator).
