It is not superfluous to spend a couple of words about the pages of this site:
validation: all pages are valid XHTML and CSS.
design: I rely on pure CSS to style the pages,
but, alas, support from browsers is not complete... The site has been designed to be viewed well with all
browsers, including text-browsers; however there are some aspects that might get lost when not using a
standard-compliant browser: this site is best viewed with Opera Browser, the one browser coming closest to
standard support.
accessibility: special attention was given to make the site accesible for everybody. A unique
id has been assigned to the body of each page: for every user it is possible to style his own sheets for this
site. Every page on this domain has the name of the domain in its title: experience has taught me that in this
way visitors more easily recognize the domain they are visiting, and it immediately becomes clear when they
are leaving the site. The usual care has been taken to provide a fallback for every feature that is missed due
to browser configuration or model: be it alternate texts for images or fallbacks for missing javascript
support (by the way: use of script is extremely limited).
