INFO http://hliask.wordpress.com/

The performance is a research piece that concerns itself with the experiential character of Elias’s poetry. It is an attempt to highlight the relationship between his poetic work and his poetic persona. The action/ performance is partly interactive with the audience and uses visual installations to feed into the pulse of this poetry of which physicality is its major characteristic. The action/performance attempts to refer to the poet’s inner journey, making parallels and references to a more general context of other poets’ and artists’ perceptions and works.

This performance / action is a continuation and part of a series of performances PULP TUBE, DO YOU REMEMBER which research the idea of memory as experiential material in the work of various writers.
